Malcolm is a seasoned executive coach & workshop facilitator. As a coach his specialism is working with executives who are progressing through the organisational hierarchy and supporting them to truly be themselves by identifying their authentic leadership style.

Malcolm draws from more than 20 years experience in management development, specializing in the fields of leadership style, persuasiveness, assertiveness and business communication.

As a coach he rapidly connects with his clients via empathy and understanding. Particularly with those who see themselves as the ‘introvert’ or not so outgoing; who are now being promoted to senior levels where their technical competence is no longer the only requirement to be successful. Malcolm helps his clients to look beyond themselves and see the bigger organisational picture, identifying how the context influences the client’s behaviour and the choices they have to respond to this.

Malcolm leads workshops on both sides of the buyer/seller interface within international companies across a wide range of cultural and industry environments including China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Malcom has lived and worked in Hong Kong since 1979, undertaking a number of entrepreneurial roles building and selling businesses, culminating in him selling his publishing company to Longman Asia Ltd. From 1994 to 1997 he was Longman’s Direct Marketing Manager.

From 1997 Malcolm was the Business Development Manager, subsequently Managing Director, of PMMS International Asia Pacific Ltd HK, a subsidiary of The PMMS Consulting Group Ltd UK.

Currently, as a Senior Consultant with Growing Edge Limited, Malcolm is now engaged on a project-basis conducting executive coaching assignments and workshops in the areas of Negotiation Planning, Cross-Functional Team Facilitation and Presentation Skills.
