The ability to positively impact and influence effectively can determine the course of an individual’s career and determine the success of a sale or business initiative. This workshops helps participants enhance interpersonal communication to inspire and engage colleagues or better influence and negotiate with customers and clients.

WORKSHOP CONTENT

This interactive workshop offers a broad portfolio of tools, strategies and hands-on practice. It draws on the latest concepts in business psychology, incorporating the Micro Skills of Influencing, to help participants develop positive and effective impact and influencing techniques.

WORKSHOP DELIVERABLES

Understanding personal communication style and its impact on others
Apply key principles in developing rapport and relationships with others such trust, empathy, and integrity
Develop an awareness and ability to read the communication style of others and tailor communication accordingly for better interactions
Understand the definitions of influencing and persuading, and how these differ from direction, manipulation or coercion
Develop an awareness and understanding of the audience and their motivations when influencing and persuading
Apply language and strategies to authentically and positively influence and persuade others even without direct authority
Use listening and questioning as key components for effective persuading and influencing
Apply frameworks and strategies to confidently and credibly handle objections and difficult conversations even in challenging circumstances

FACILITATORS

Our facilitators have worked as in-house communication skills trainers and in senior learning and development roles for leading MNCs. They are accredited business coaches and facilitators with experience working with managers and leaders at all levels. Their experience spans engagement, leadership development, communication skills, and strategy planning and facilitation.
